It’s the 3rd day of a sparkly, shiny, brand-spankin’ new year… Have you started, or re-started yet?!?
Ok, now that I’ve got your attention 🙂
Jess2 here, checking in… I want to know A) did you make a resolution geared towards your health, and B) have you started making steps towards it yet? (ok, and C) hellloooo is anybody in there reading this new blog :P) It’s ok if you haven’t because guess what, EVERY SINGLE DAY brings a new chance for a better start! You don’t have to be perfect, it’s about progress, not perfection! I wanted to share something with you (the real point of me being here this evening :P) a little step that I know works wonders for at least one of our students, and I’m hoping it might help you too…
This my friends is one of our students (thank you for sharing Krista!) goal schedule for the month. So, my challenge to you is TRY IT! Schedule your workouts in advance. You are far more likely to keep any commitment that you schedule in advance, appointments, CLASSES, meals, you name it. If it’s planned, your chances of getting it done are MUCH better! As a habitual, and crazy over-planner I can tell you it works 😛 Don’t just wait until that day and decide that Johnny whomever-at-work made you made so you aren’t going to show up at the gym today. Keep your APPOINTMENT with the gym and make Johnny the reason you DO show up and kick some major S.W.E.A.T. out because of it!
I came across this today… another inspiration for this post. Ponder it. Every single day when you wake up think about what you’re going to do that day to get you closer to where you want to be…
Because you get a new start every single day! Don’t let one bad month, or week, or day kill your progress, ever. You don’t need a new year to make the decision for a change. You just need to wake up in the morning and GO FOR IT 🙂 Tomorrow, and every single day after that is YOUR DAY, and you deserve the very best! Make it a good one!
